Literary festivals are multicultural celebrations to enhance the capabilities of mind and make human being better. If literature is imagination then these festivals are attempts to bring that imagination in phenomenal world. Faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce (FASC) at Mody University of Science and Technology, Laxmangarh, Sikar always provides its students such atmosphere and pulpit where they not only contribute in the development of social understanding but also bring new literary ideas to its beautiful and spiritual campus. Keeping this idea in mind students of B.A III English (Honors) went to St Xavier’s College Jaipur to participate in Literary Festival “Literati”. They participated in various activities like debate, poster making, ad making, making of documentaries, and face painting. All the students participated with enthusiasm and dedication. Gayatri and Aditi Saharan won the second prize in poster making. They got new stage to prove their potentiality and they were appreciated by the guests and Judges. Only bookish knowledge does not make any student a good scholar so this literary festival gave a second sight to know not only written word but also realize the importance of “Literature in Use” beyond the confines of printed words.
