Inauguration of Two days National Colloquium at College of Law & Governance, ModyUniversity, Lakshmangarh, Sikar

Two days National Colloquium on Human dignity and Human Rights: Issues and Challenges in India, sponsored by National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi was started today in College of Law & Governance, Mody University, Lakshmangarh, Sikar (Raj). The inaugural function was started at around 10:00 am where all the dignitaries, research scholars and participants were welcomed by Prof. Satish C. Shastri,Dean-CLG. The dignitaries Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vijay Bishnoi,Judge, Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur, Prof. Virendra Kumar, Founding Director (Academics), Chandigarh Judicial Academy, Chandigarh and Hon’ble Mr. R. S. Rathore, Judge, Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur spoke on issues and challenges pertaining to Human dignity and Human rights. The inaugural session also witnessed the presence of Registrar, Mr. Ernest Samuel and ended with Thanks giving by Vice Chancellor, Prof. VishwaNath Prasad.On the first day of the Seminar,48 participants presented their Paper in two technical sessions.

Total of 90 persons from 36 universities have come to attend the Colloquium and about 86 papers will be read in various sessions of the Colloquium.

In the valedictory function,Prof. Satish C. Shastri,Dean-CLGgavea warm welcome to dignitaries,Prof. Virendra Kumar, Founding Director (Academics), Chandigarh Judicial Academy, Chandigarh, Prof. I.G.Ahmad, Calcutta University and Prof. V.S .Mani, Founding Director, Gujrat National University, Gandhinagar graced the occasion and spoke on various issues and challenges pertaining to Human dignity and Human rights. Prof. S.S.Jaswal read the detail report of the seminar and Vote of thanks was given by the Registrar Mr. Ernest Samuel.The two day seminar witnessed90 participants from 36 universities who presented their Paper in four technical sessions.
