The School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh has organized two day International Conference entitled “International Conference on Emerging Trends in Communication, Control and Computing (ICONC3-2020)” & CSI-National Student Convention during 21-22 February, 2020 .The two day mega event had involvement of around 650 delegates, encompassing of National and International pursuits, academia, persons from reputed industries and students.

The conference was inaugurated in Swami Haridas Sabhagar with lamp lighting and garlanding ceremony of Goddess Saraswati followed by University’s theme song. The inaugural function was fascinated by the presence of renowned and eminent persons, chief guest Prof. K. K. Aggarwal, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, Guest of Honor- Prof. A. K. Nayak, President-Computer Society of India, Guest of Honor, Professor Narendra S. Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, Professor Kamesh Namudri, University of North Texas-Denton, USA, Prof. Girish Kumar, IIT Bombay, Prof. Ramzi A. Haraty, American Lebanese University, Lebanon, Mr. Rajib Bose from IBM, Conference chairman Prof. V. K. Jain, Dean-Academics, Mody University of Science and Technology, Conference Convener & Head, Dept. of ECE, Dr. Rajeev Pourush & Dr. Anand Sharma, SBC CSI Student Branch.

The conference formally begun with the opening remarks of Prof. V.K.Jain, Respected Chairman of the conference & Dean-Academics, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh. He has shown his gratitude towards the chief guest Prof.

K.K.Agarwal, Guest of Honors and other dignitaries. In his opening remarks, Prof. Jain has enlighten the audience about the theme and prominent challenges prevailing in the domain of Communication, Control and Computing. Prof. V.K.Jain, comprehend the august gathering, not only with the necessity of such conference & convention in the current era but also with the series of events going to be held during the conference & convention. In his introductory address, Prof Jain mentioned that, in order to foster the research culture among academia and student, the conference and convention is encompassing various competitions viz Mody University Young Teacher Award-2020, Best Ph.D. Thesis competition, Best M. Tech. Thesis competition, Best
Alumni Research Paper Award, Best Research Paper Award in each track, IOT Workshop, Hardware Model Presentation, Software Presentation, Coding Competition, Poster Presentation , Student Paper Presentation, Web Designing Contest and Application Development Contest . Prof. Jain also mentioned that such competitions are necessary for levitating the level of enthusiasm and proliferating the zeal of research among academia and students.

The Chief Guest Prof. K. K. Agarwal, Guest of Honor Prof. A. K. Nayak and Prof. N. S. Chaudhary has also enlightened the august gathering with their valuable words of wisdom and shared their experiences. The souvenir of the conference was also released in the inaugural function. Prof. V.K.Jain embellished Prof. K.K.Agarwal with Shawl, Shriphal , Srimad Bhagwat Geeta and Memento as a token of remembrance. Prof. V. K. Jain has presented Srimad Bhagwat Geeta and Memento as a token of remembrance to our guest of honor Prof. A. K. Nayak. Dr. Rajeev Pourush, convener of the conference has presented Srimad Bhagwat Geeta & Memento as a token of remembrance to the guest of honor, Dr. Narendra S. Chaudhari. Dr. Rajeev Pourush has presented a bouquet as a token of
remembrance to our guest of honor Prof. A.K.Nayak. Prof. A Senthil, HOD, CSE dept, has presented a bouquet to Mr. Rajib Bose. Dr. Sandeep Jaiswal, HOD Biomedical Dept. has presented a bouquet to Prof. Ramzi A. Haraty, Dr. Praneet Saurabh of CSE Dept. has presented a bouquet to Prof. Girish Kumar and Dr. Anand Sharma, SBC CSI Student Branch has presented a bouquet as a token of remembrance to Prof. Kamesh Namuduri.

The inaugural session ended with the vote of thanks, presented by Dr. Rajeev Pourush. Thereafter, everyone was requested to proceed for high tea and group photograph outside Swami Haridas Sabhagar.

In the subsequent session of keynote addresses, Prof. Girish Kumar , shared his words of wisdom on the topic “Cell Phone/Tower Radiation Hazards And Solutions”, Prof Kamesh Namudri delivered his thought provoking talk on “Safe and Trusted Unmanned Air Transportation”, Our Industry expert, Mr. Rajib Bose from IBM has delivered his extensive talk on “Computing 2”.

After a lavish lunch at the university’s dining hall, everyone proceeded to either witness or to participate in various competitions. There were ten parallel technical sessions in conference comprising various competitions namely Mody University Young Teacher Award, Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, Best M. Tech. Thesis Award, Best Alumni Research Paper Award, Best Research paper award in each tracks were executed at various places of Acharya Brahaspati Building of the University . Under CSI-NSC events Eleven parallel sessions like IOT Workshop, Hardware Model Presentation, Software Presentation, Coding Competition, Poster Presentation , Student Paper Presentation, Web Designing Contest and Application Development Contest were conducted. In which all the participants put their efforts in competing with each other. Every session was judged by a panel of internal and external experts.

mody 1 Brief Report  on  International Conference on Emerging Trends in Communication, Control and Computing (ICONC3 2020)  &  CSI National Student Convention

We have received more than 150 full length papers in this conference. All the submissions were underwent the peer-review process which comprised expert reviewers. The entire process, which includes the submissions, review and acceptance processes was done electronically. Total 75 papers were registered and selected for presentation in to the various conference tracks as follows:

Track 1 was Circuits & Systems (ECE-1) in which 14 papers were registered

Track 2 was the combination of theme like Microwave and Antennas, Communication Technologies and Signal Processing in which 10 papers were registered. Track 3 was Network and Computing- Cloud Computing & IoT (CSE-1), 12 papers were registered. Track 4 was Network and Computing- Big Data Analytics & Machine Intelligence (CSE-2) in which 11 papers were registered, In track 5

Network and Computing- Parallel & Distributed Computing, Networks Security (CSE-3): 10 papers were registered for presentation and In Track 06: Control Systems & Instrumentation (EE):10 papers were selected for presentation. In order to recognize the quality work, we have kept best paper award in each track.

After the technical sessions, the delegates proceeded for high tea followed by an entertaining cultural programme. The students of SET have given mesmerizing performances encompassing solo dance, solo singing, group dances of different Indian states, duet dance, mime and group singing. The entire gathering of students and experts have enjoyed a lot and appreciated the efforts of SET students. The cultural programme was ended with the National Anthem.

Finally, the galaxy of experts and all registered delegates have enjoyed Conference’s Gala Dinner at Hotel Vinayak Resorts, Lakshmangarh.

At this juncture, the first day which was full of thought provoking activities was came to an end.

The second day (22 February, 2020) of the conference (ICONC3-2020) & CSI-NSC was begun with the session of keynote address in which customary felicitations of our guest with Bouquet, Memento and Srimad Bhagwat Geeta was done. The first keynote address of the day was given by Prof. Ramzi A. Haraty, from American Lebanese University, Beirut, Lebanon, who has delivered his vibrant talk on “Information Warfare: Towards Efficient Information Reconciliation in E-Healthcare Systems” .The next keynote speech was addressed on “Imaging, Communication and Energy
Technologies” by eminent academia Prof. Sandeep Sancheti, Vice-Chancellor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. The third keynote speech was delivered by Prof. D. K. Chaturvedi, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra on the much sought

after topic entitled “Seven Ages of Substances and what is Next”. The last keynote speech was delivered by our distinguished expert from the industry Mr. Saurav Shekhar from IBM on the contemporary topic entitled “To & For future businesses – Networking & Computing”.

Afterwards, the brainstorming session of panel discussion was begun, Dr. Mahesh Bundele, Principal and Director, Purnima College of Engineering, Jaipur, Dr. Mukul Verma from IET, Prof. Kamesh Namudri of UNT, USA, Mr. Pradeep Rathi, VP- CSI, Dr. Rohit Bhakar, MNIT Jaipur, Professor Vijay Janyani, MNIT Jaipur and Dr. A. Senthil of Mody University deliberated on the theme “Smart Technologies for Future Advancements” which ignite to young scientist and engineers. The discussion was followed by the question and answer session.

The results and discussions had been very fruitful to the entire fraternity of academia. After a two days rigorous schedule and enthusiastic participation in brainstorming, The conference had reached to its last and final session which we had celebrated as a valedictory ceremony. The session was begun under the blissful presence of distinguished Chief Guest Prof. Sandeep Sancheti, Vice-Chancellor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai and Honorable Patron of the Conference Prof. M. Venu Gopal Rao, Director, Mody University of Science and Technology. The
other members on the dais were Chairman of the Conference, Prof. V.K.Jain, Guest of Honour, Prof. Kamesh Namudri, University of North Texas, USA and Guest of Honour Prof. Ramzi A. Haraty, American Lebanese University, Lebanon, Prof. R.K.Vyas, Vice President, Computer Society of India, Prof. Jayant Bhide, Computer Society of India, Conference Convener, Dr. Rajeev Pourush and SBC CSI Student Branch, Dr. Anand Sharma.

The Valedictory ceremony started with the felicitation of Chief Guest, Prof. Sandeep Sancheti and other guest on the dais with a bouquet. A brief session report on ICONC3-2020 and CSI-NSC was presented by Conference Convener, Dr. Rajeev Pourush. After presenting the Awards to the winners of various categories, a few of them shared their experience and feedback about the conference. Patron of the conference, Prof. M. Venu Gopal Rao, Director, Mody University of Science and Technology, has welcome the Chief Guest, other guests and participants of the conference & convention. He congratulated all the Award Winners who took part in various technical sessions of conference & convention. He also congratulated the Chairman of the conference and other members of organizing committee for successfully organizing the event. Prof. Sandeep Sancheti congratulated all the delegates for their contribution in the conference and convention and all the award recipients for various technical sessions and encouraged them to excel in the career.

Prof. V.K.Jain, Conference Chairman & Dean-Academics, presented the closing remarks. Prof. Jain has expressed his gratitude towards all the experts, who came from abroad as well as from various states of India. He has also expressed his thanks to the researchers and authors who submitted overwhelming numbers of papers for the conference. Prof. Jain has also congratulated the organizing committee members for making the event a grand success.
