A team of 52 students of BA programme along with 3 faculty members undertook an industrial visit to the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) and Ravindra Rang Manch (RRM), Jaipur on 8 September, 2014. These places are reservoir of cultural heritage, performing arts, folk traditions, visual culture etc. The students understood the technical aspects of theatre, paintings and had the opportunity to explore the various aspects of village life. The various activities enabled the students to understand the metonymical existence of various forms of performing arts and bridged the gap among the artist, students and scholars, with the integration of different modern theatre forms and a movement towards a multidisciplinary approach towards the understanding, dissemination and propagation of theatre.
