Expert Talk by Mr. Krishan Kalra on Climate Change

School of Engineering and Technology, Mody University is organizing Expert Talk Session on ‘Climate Change – Science, Effects & Mitigation Strategies’ by Mr. Krishan Kalra, a renowned speaker at 5:30 PM on 2^nd September 2019 in the Campus. Climate Change is no longer a mystery, it is not the imagination of some scientists – as non believers would say a few years ago. It is today a harsh reality, evidenced by frequent extreme weather events  like typhoons, cloud bursts, flash floods and droughts happening all too often.  Everyone needs to know about the simple science behind it, it’s severe effects on our lives and – most importantly – realize that human action is largely responsible for the sorry state of affairs and human action alone can arrest the deadly march and mitigate the damage.
