It is said that no one truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails. A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones.

As a part of practical learning, Faculty of Law, Mody University Laxmangarh organized a visit to Women Reformative Home, Central Jail, Jaipur (Raj.) on 14 February 2015. Forty four students along with four teachers had the experience of meeting female prisoners (convicted as well as under trial). The queries of students were very well received and answered by the prisoners as well as the jail authorities. The students availed this opportunity quite well and enhanced their knowledge in criminal law. This gave them an opportunity to learn about prison administration, amenities and facilities provided by the Jail administration in the reformation and rehabilitation of women prisoners.
