President Dr Vishwanath (Vish) Prasad welcomed Mr. Balunywa Baker, Education Attaché Uganda High Commission,New Delhi, on the Mody University campus. In his welcome note Dr Prasad hoped to develop strong ties with Uganda High commission. Talking about Mody University and its women empowerment objective Dr Prasad stated that Mody University has adopted a holistic educational approach and students are provided with best of the education in the state of the art buildings, excellent infrastructure, serene environment and placement support. The environment in the Mody University helps students to focus and learn in a stress free environment which enhances their performance immensely.Students are engaged into classrooms as well as encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities which builds strong team spirit and leadership qualities.He further stressed that the educational approach at Mody University is on learning rather than mundane teaching. International students are counselled one on one and faculties focus on their weaknesses and help them to catch up with rest of the class. Taking into consideration current safety issues in India President assured Mr. Baker that ModyUniversity is fully safe and secured for female students and a special care is taken of international student’s requirements. A multi cuisine restaurant will soon open its door on the campus.

Dr Prasad assured Mr. Baker that Mody University is a right choice for Ugandan female students to excel in academics as well as career building.

Talks were initiated regarding student Exchange programs, Faculty Exchange programs and student recruitment through respective Embassy. Mr. Baker (Education attaché Uganda High commission) showed keen interest for the same and agreed that learning environment and safety at Mody University would attract lot of Ugandan young students.Mr. Baker informed that his high commissioner is very impressed by Mody Universityand its approach towards women empowerment and is keen to visit the campus in the nearest future.

Mr. Baker visited all the faculties and appreciated the facilities extended to students for their learning and growth. He visited the hostels and was impressed by cleanliness and amenities extended to the students.

The congenial environment gave confidence to the diplomat that at Mody Universitywhat yousee in the prospectus is what you get in reality.
