FASC NSS Students Spread a Message of Humanity

The overall growth of students is never complete until they are motivated to channelize their energy towards the community beyond classrooms. The students of FASC at Mody University of Science and Technology, Laxmangarh understand the virtue of being philanthropic and they envisage the motto of NSS (National Service Scheme) – ‘NOT ME BUT YOU’. To spread the noble cause further, a group of thirty students, escorted by two teachers of FASC, visited Rajkiya Praveshika Sanskrit Vidhyalaya at Laxmangarh on 7th October, 2014. The students of school were exhilarated by the presence of FASC students. The school students were given instructions on the art of paper craft and together they made cards of different colors and shapes. They were also made aware about the excessive wastage of papers and were motivated to cut down on the wastage of papers in our everyday activities. They were also given special classes on various topics by the students and teachers of FASC alike. Dr. Kusum Sharma took mathematics class and made learning fun for the students. The program helped many students to become clear-headed about what they wish to do. It has given them a chance to examine oneself and one’s capacities and sensitized them to their responsibilities to the community in which they live. The reaction of the children to the care and attention given by the volunteers was overwhelmingly enthusiastic.
