The visit which took place on February 15, 2014 had Ms Shweta the resource person who welcomed the students with a warm heart and made the industrial visit interesting and fun besides providing them with ample knowledge of how Parle works!
Mody University of Science & Technology makes sure that the students get a good amount of exposure about the corporate world and by conducting these visits it establishes the fact that they believe in imparting an education which goes beyond books. The students started the industrial visit by acknowledging the various processes involved in the manufacturing of biscuits and candy through animated movies. The students got a fair amount of idea about the industry when Ms Shweta took them to the plant site where they witnessed the actual manufacturing process. The students came to know that hygiene is the precursor to every process at Parle-from husking the wheat, melting the sugar to delivering the final products to supermarkets…they learnt it all!
The industrial visit arranged by the Mody University made the students aware about the industry which is known for its wide range of snacks and confectionary items and witness the amount of effort that the brand gives to maintain the quality.
