The College of Law and Governance, Mody University organized a National Service Scheme cum Legal Literacy Campaign on 21st Feb’2015 at Sharda School in BadiKhudi, a village near Lakshmangarh. The theme for the programme was “Women Empowerment”. It was depicted through street plays revolving around the social evils against women. The play drew the attention of the students and villagers toward several problems relating to women, like child marriages, eve teasing, sexual harassment, dowry death etc. The other play was onimportance of education in life. The students of CLG also conducted fun games and sports activities for them. The knowledge and participation of village students of Sharda School was overwhelming and their enthusiasm was impeccable. The students of CLG also distributed Pamphlets to make students and their families aware of their legal rights.
