School of Law, Mody University, organized ‘Bienvenu’ (Masquerade) The fresher party to welcome the freshers, on Monday, 21st October 2019. The entire School of Law was converted into a fusion of pretty colors. The students dressed in western and classical Indian outfits symbolized the fusion and synthesis of east and west.
The Programme was inaugurated by the Honorable Dean, Prof.(Dr.) Satish C Shastri by Sarasvati Vandanaandlighting the auspicious lamp.This was followed by a high decibel entertainment program. The presentations in the Programme were, group dances performed by Second Year students, followed by power-packed performances by First year juniors. Alisha Hooda and group performed a silent comedy skit. Niharika Khandelwal and Chaavi sung too well to be appreciated for singing some English songs.Overall it was a fun packed event of almost 30 performances which included everything.
55 fresher students participated in the ramp walk. After 4 rounds of stiff competition, Ms Harshita Purohit was adjudged as Ms. Fresher 2019, Palak Sikarwar won the title Heels on Fire, and Sneha Soni received the title Sui generis.
Dean SOL, Prof. (Dr.) Satish C Shastri welcomed the students from across the country, who have chosen School of Law, Mody Universityto pursue their higher studies in Law.
Speaking at this occasion the Dean, SOL, applauded the young students for possessing an indomitable spirit, infinite energy and dreams to touch the sky. He reiterated his commitment to provide a liberal yet disciplined, along with the utmost academic atmosphere at the School of Law and create ample opportunities for the students to fulfil their dreams.
