The National Service Scheme team (NSS) of Mody University of Science and Technology
(MUST) visited Pratham Seva Samithi, an orphanage situated at Sikar on the day of Makar
Sakranti. The agenda of the visit is to donate warm clothes, blankets and sweet to the 27
children who are residing at the orphanage inSikar. The NSS volunteers conducted various
activities for the children.
The day started with kite competition among the children. Other activities like story-telling,
sports activities were also played during the day. Talking about the event, Dr Kusum Sharma,
NSS Coordinator, Mody University said “ It’s a pleasure to see the children with happy faces.
Our visit to the orphanage will surely help us in taking up the challenges and responsibilities for
the betterment of humanity as a whole in future.”
