Mody University begins its Founder’s Day Celebrations with Agni Sthapana & Ram Yagya along

with various Cultural events

Renowned Speaker Ms Jaya Row enlightens students with philosophical discourse on Formula for

Success

22 nd January 2020, Lakshmangarh: On the eve of the Institute’ Founder’s Day Celebrations, Mody
University kicked off the first day celebration with the auspicious ritual of Agni Sthapana & Ram
Yagya today. The University has organized five day long mega yagya function. The grand Ram Yagya
will be performed religiously as a part of the on-going rituals by 21 Vedic priests hailed from Tirupati
specifically for this celebration. The Yagya is dedicated to the spirit of Vishwashanti and progressive
wisdom among the mankind.

The program began with lightening of the lamp followed by Kulgeet in the presence of Honorable
Chairman, Shri R P Mody, Management Council, Shri S. S Bhuwania, Dr. M Venu Gopala Rao, Director
Mody University and all divisions’ heads of Mody University, Schools and other dignitaries.
Understanding the importance of peaceful mental state of mind in this fast moving world,
philosophical discourse on Vendanta ‘Formula for Success’ was conducted by renowned speaker Ms.
Jaya Row. Ms Row is one of the most powerful speakers on Vedanta – the oldest management
school in the world. In her discourse, she motivated students to live successful and happy lives by
inspiring them to learn from the preaching derived from Indian mythology. She inspired students to
rise from mediocrity and pursue excellence.

Madam Tara Agarwal, RHJS, District & Session Judge (MSCT), Sikar (Rajasthan) performed the
inauguration ceremony of Mody School Exhibition. In the exhibition, the students of Mody School
showcased theme based projects created in different segments related to various disciplines. The
day closed with various cultural performances, art exhibition and live music by the students of both
Mody School and Mody University which included Sampurna Ramayana theater performance, band
performance and so on.

Dr. M Venu Gopala Rao, Director, Mody University informed that during these five days of Founder’s
day celebrations the University will host around thousands of people, including students, faculty,
parents, esteemed guests etc. at the Campus. The celebrations would include cultural events,
sessions, distinguished talks and spiritual discourses throughout the week.
