Another encompassment for Mody University of Science and Technology!
The recent collaboration of Mody University with the world’s largest and most valuable software company, Microsoft has brought the University into the limelight. They have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft. For providing technical training to their students the two have come together for its prestigious Edvantage program under Platinum Category. Microsoft has also started their Boot Camp at the Mody Campus. And the main purpose behind this camp is to provide most effective and immersive Microsoft certification training in the shortest amount of time.
It was inaugurated by Ms. Sameeksha Khare on 14th January, 2014 at Faculty of Engineering and Technology. She conducted four-Technical Sessions and one Interactive Session for the students.
Edvantage Program will be held for six week during which FET students will learn the skill of developing Applications (APPs). After they complete this program, the students will upload their Apps on Microsoft’s website. A certification test will be conducted after this, which is meant for Internship and Final Placement of students in Microsoft and allied companies. Microsoft certifications have had a long-standing reputation for excellence in the IT industry. So more hands-on experience and passing more challenging exams are required to successfully navigate Microsoft’s certification path.
At the end of the training program Microsoft will come up with yet another training program, this time on an advanced level and it is called “APPATHON”.
EduKinect, the education partner of Microsoft, has launched a pilot program in which they conduct technical training sessions. This will end with certification tests. They will also organize a 24-hours non-stop mega App Development Event, “YAPPON” on 22nd and 23rd January, 2014, where students will get the opportunity to win exciting prizes along with Certificates of participation and Excellence. The participation rate is quite high among the students!
